1.  "Back to School School Supplies for Durbin Elementary School"

       It's back to school time, and we have a great opportunity to help the kids at Durbin Elementary School with some back-to-school items.  Here are the items they need the most:  glue sticks, kid scissors, colored post-it notes (3x3), full-size boxes of tissues, ziploc bags (both quart-size and gallon-size), black and white wide rule composition Mead notebooks (not the wire bound), and 12 inch rulers (with centimeters and inches).  If you can help, please place the items in the box next to the Missions Table (beside the cafe).  We will gladly deliver all of the supplies to Durbin.  Thanks for your help, and for sharing God's love in this tangible way!

2.  "Back-to-School Shower for the Teachers at Durbin Elementary School"

       Taking advantage of the "Office Depot Store Purchasing Cards," we are throwing a "Back-to-School Shower" for the teachers at Durbin Elementary School!  Most of the students at Durbin receive free or reduced lunches and book rental fees.  In most schools, book rental fees are used to purchase these items that we are collecting for the teachers.  At Durbin, the teachers spend their own money for these classroom needs.  Thanks in advance for your help!  If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Jennifer ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
